Payments & commerce

Your merchant account. Your rate. Your keys.

Connect your own processor with your own API keys. Settlement lands where it lands today, at the rate you negotiated. No platform in our fifteen-product survey offers this.

Bring your own

Keep the merchant account and the rate you already have.

Paste in your keys and you are live. We are never in the flow of funds and take no share of your rate.

Two processors, one interface

Stripe and CardPointe, built against the same interface at the same time and exercised by the same test suite. An adapter written for one and later stretched to a second is the shape that leaks; building both at once is what proves the boundary holds.

The boundary is the product

The adapter boundary is what you are buying, not the processor list. It covers the browser as well as the server, because a hosted card field and an iframe returning a token are structurally different integrations — so adding your processor is a known quantity.

Or use ours

Run on our merchant account instead and skip the underwriting. Switch to your own later from a settings screen. It is not a contract term.

Prove the key before you open registration

A test-mode toggle and a live credential check are built in, so you confirm the connection works on a Tuesday in March rather than on the morning registration opens.

Where the card number goes

Never to our server.

Tokenisation happens in the browser on the processor’s own hosted field. Card numbers never touch our servers, which keeps your PCI scope small and lets 3-D Secure challenges complete properly.

Exhibitor and sponsor invoices

Take booth payments by ACH instead of card.

ACH is a payment method on every exhibitor and sponsor invoice, on both processors, through the same hosted tokenizer as a card. Your exhibitors pay by bank transfer without anyone emailing bank details.

Invoices, not checkout

ACH is offered on exhibitor invoices, where multi-day settlement is fine, and not on attendee checkout, where it is not.

Pending is a real state

An ACH payment shows as pending until it clears, so your revenue reports never count money that has not arrived.

Purchase orders

Record a purchase order number on the contract, so institutional buyers can process the invoice without calling you for it.

Onsite

Take card payments at the walk-up desk.

Walk-ups tap a real reader and leave with a printed badge from the same transaction. Card-present terminals are rare outside dedicated onsite vendors — and they are in the subscription here.

Terminals on both processors

Stripe Terminal hardware, and Clover through CardPointe. The terminal handles the card and the app never sees a number.

Walk-ups, add-ons, merchandise

Sell a late registration, a workshop add-on or a t-shirt at the desk. The badge prints from the same transaction.

Apple Pay and Google Pay

Available at checkout through the same hosted tokenizer. Most registration flows are opened on a phone.

One catalogue

One cart for tickets, booths, sponsorships and merchandise.

One catalogue, one cart, one order, one discount engine, one refund path. An exhibitor buys a booth, a sponsorship and four lead-capture seats in a single checkout.

Early bird is a date window

Set a start and end date on the price. It expires on schedule with nobody watching, and no code to turn off.

Member pricing that knows the cart

Buying a membership in the same cart applies the member rate to the ticket beside it. One checkout, not two.

Group thresholds

Set a group price and a minimum quantity on the price row. Group discounts apply automatically at checkout.

Your totals reconcile to the cent

Money is stored as integer cents everywhere, with no floating point near a financial column.

Every registration links to its order line

Refunds, transfers and cancellations resolve automatically because the system knows what was paid for what.

Nobody is ever charged twice

A retried charge charges once and a replayed webhook credits once. Guaranteed here rather than assumed from the processor.

Who holds your merchant account today, and what rate are you on?

If the answer is “the event platform does”, bringing it back in-house usually pays for a good part of the subscription on its own.
